Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- diced celery - 1 c
- envelopes gelatin - 2 item
- small can pimentos - 1 item
- asparagus, cut up - 1 c
- asparagus juice - 1/4 c
How to make asparagus salad:
Boil sugar, water, vinegar, asparagus juice, lemon juice and salt for 5 minutes. Add gelatin that has been softened in 1/2 cup water. When cool, add other ingredients and chill until set. Pretty in a mold. Tightly covered, it keeps a week.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Asparagus.
