Artichoke torte
Ingredients/Components
- jars marinated artichoke hearts, cut into small pieces reserve the oil from the hearts - 2 item
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- cloves garlic, mashed - 2 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- Tabasco sauce - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 4 item
- fresh parsley, minced - 1/4 c
- soda crackers, crumbled - 1/2 c
How to make artichoke torte:
Saute onions and garlic in 3 tablespoons of the reserved artichoke hearts oil. Mix artichoke hearts, grated cheese, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and eggs together. Add onions and garlic. Put into greased square 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle with the crumbled soda crackers. Bake for 35 minutes at 325°. Chill for 2 hours before cutting.
