Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- light cream or evaporated milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- rum - 1/4 c
- fruit strawberries, apples, bananas, grapes - 1 item
- angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
- marshmallows - 1 item
How to make caramel fondue:
In pan, combine sugar, cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil 3 minutes until sauce thickens. Let stand 3 minutes. Stir in rum. Serve warm or cold with dippers.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Condiments, etc..
