Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • light cream or evaporated milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/3 c
  • rum - 1/4 c
  • fruit strawberries, apples, bananas, grapes - 1 item
  • angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • marshmallows - 1 item

How to make caramel fondue:

In pan, combine sugar, cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil 3 minutes until sauce thickens. Let stand 3 minutes. Stir in rum. Serve warm or cold with dippers.
