Ingredients/Components

  • dry yeast - 1 pkg
  • egg - 1 item
  • Crisco - 3/4 c
  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • warm water - 2 c
  • self-rising flour - 4 c

How to make yeast rolls:

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar and Crisco. Beat in other ingredients. Spoon into greased muffin tins (only 1/3 to 1/2 full). Bake in heated 400° oven for 13 to 15 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
