Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • fish sauce - 1/2 c
  • can coconut milk - 1 oz
  • red pepper flakes to taste - 1 item
  • can bamboo shoots, drained - 1 oz
  • red curry paste - 1 Tbsp
  • fresh sweet basil - 1/4 c
  • chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes - 1 lb
  • dried kaffir lime leaves - 6 item
  • small fresh red pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • Heat and stir until blended

How to make thai chicken curry:

In a medium to large skillet, combine curry paste and 2 tablespoons coconut milk. Heat and stir until blended. Add chicken and saute until almost done. Add fish sauce, sugar, remaining coconut milk, red pepper flakes and bamboo shoots.

Stir while bringing mixture to a boil. Add kaffir lime leaves and garnish with basil and chopped red pepper before serving. Serve with jasmine rice.*INXHamburger:
