Ingredients/Components
- can pineapple slices - 1 oz
- boneless chicken breasts - 4 item
- cloves garlic, pressed - 2 item
- salt - 1 item
- honey - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- lime juice - 2 4
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
How to make hawaiian chicken:
Rub chicken with garlic. Sprinkle with salt. Broil or grill chicken until cooked through (about 10 minutes). Drain pineapple juice into saucepan. Combine with honey, lime juice, soy sauce and cornstarch. Cook, stirring until thickened. Add a few pineapple slices.Place remaining pineapple on serving tray and pour sauce with pineapple over chicken. Let sit for a few minutes. Serve with rice. Serves 4.
