- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- large green pepper - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- large onions, sliced - 3 item
How to make texas hash:
Heat oven to 350°. In a large skillet cook and stir ground beef until light brown; drain. Add onions and green peppers. Cook and stir until tender. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
