Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- cornstarch
- water - 1 c
- cold water - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 5 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- round steak
- green peppers, cut in rings - 2 item
How to make green pepper steak:
Cut steak in finger strips. Brown well in oil. Add all seasonings, vinegar, soy sauce and water. Cook 1 1/2 hours on low heat. Add peppers and cook 10 minutes. Add cornstarch; cook 10 additional minutes. Add tomatoes, cooking 10 more minutes. Serve over white or yellow rice. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, White rice.
