- water
- pepper
- round steak - 2 lb
- carrots, cut - 2 item
- potatoes, cut - 2 item
- tiny garlic button - 1 item
- favorite flaky pastry - 1 item
How to make meat pie:
Cut meat into cubes, dip in flour and brown in oil. Add the seasonings, vegetables and water. Pour in buttered casserole. Cover; bake 1 hour. During the last 1/2 hour, cover with flaky pastry or baking powder biscuits. Total cooking time, 1 1/2 hours in a 350° oven.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Savory pies.
