Ingredients/Components

  • salt
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • water
  • pepper
  • round steak - 2 lb
  • carrots, cut - 2 item
  • potatoes, cut - 2 item
  • tiny garlic button - 1 item
  • favorite flaky pastry - 1 item

How to make meat pie:

Cut meat into cubes, dip in flour and brown in oil. Add the seasonings, vegetables and water. Pour in buttered casserole. Cover; bake 1 hour. During the last 1/2 hour, cover with flaky pastry or baking powder biscuits. Total cooking time, 1 1/2 hours in a 350° oven.
