Teriyaki chicken
Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 2 Tbsp
- oyster sauce - 2 Tbsp
- Catalina bottled salad dressing - 1/2 c
- to 8 pieces chicken, washed and patted dry - 6 item
How to make teriyaki chicken:
Spray rectangular baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the chicken pieces, skin side up, in the dish. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 15 minutes.Meantime, in a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients. Remove pan from oven and apply 1 or 2 tablespoons of the marinade to each chicken piece and return to the oven. Continue basting the chicken with pan juices every 8 to 12 minutes until the chicken pieces are tender and cooked through, up to 1 hour total baking time. Remove the dish from the oven and serve. Serves 4.
If the oyster sauce is not used, increase the soy sauce by 1 tablespoon.
