Chicken tetrazzini
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- cooked spaghetti - 1 lb
- cooked chicken, diced or turkey - 4 c
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
Cook spaghetti and set aside. Saut celery and onion in butter in a large bowl; mix in chicken soup, sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Add spaghetti, diced chicken, salt and pepper. Pour mixture into a buttered baking dish. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 40 minutes (do not overcook).This is a great dish to serve at parties. Can be made ahead of time and baked when needed.
