Chicken piccata
Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- unsifted flour - 1/4 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts, split in half - 4 item
- chicken-flavor bouillon cubes - 2 item
How to make chicken piccata:
Beat egg with 1 tablespoon lemon juice in small bowl. In medium bowl, combine flour, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then in flour mixture. In large skillet, brown chicken in margarine. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Add remaining lemon juice and pour over chicken. Simmer 20 to 40 minutes in covered skillet, moving it around occasionally with spatula to avoid sticking. Enjoy!Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
