Ingredients/Components

  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • oleo - 1/3 c
  • baked mashed sweet potatoes - 1 c
  • sweet milk - 1/3 c

How to make sweet potato biscuits:

Heat oven to 400°. Grease cookie sheet. Mix salt and flour; cut oleo and potatoes into flour, adding milk gradually. Mix well and drop on cookie sheet in biscuit size drops (from spoon). Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Butter and serve hot.

You may also roll out or shape with your hands.
