Ingredients/Components
- crescent rolls - 2 pkg
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- sugar - 1 c
- slivered almonds
- egg, separated - 1 item
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make cheese squares:
Butter bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Put 1 package crescent rolls on bottom of pan, patting serration together. Beat together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Spread over rolls. Place second package of rolls on top of cheese mixture, pinching serration together. Beat egg white with a fork and spread over top layer of crescent rolls. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and almonds. Sprinkle over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°. Cut into squares and serve warm or cold.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Appetizers.
