Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- salt - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- ground round - 2 lb
- taco sauce - 2 c
- cans chopped green chilies - 2 oz
- refried beans - 40 oz
- bunch chopped green onions - 1/2 item
- avocados, mashed - 3 item
- shredded Jack or Cheddar cheese - 5 c
- nachos - 8 c
- small can chopped ripe olives - 1 item
How to make supper nachos:
Brown beef and onion with salt and pepper; drain. Spread refried beans in a shallow 11 x 17-inch pan. Top evenly with meat, then green chilies with shredded cheese over chilies. Drizzle taco sauce over cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with onions (tops too) and chopped ripe olives. Heat 10 minutes more. Mound center with avocados; surround with sour cream and sprinkle with parsley. Quickly tuck nachos around edges. Serves 8 to 12.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Casseroles.
