Prepare pans (9 x 13 x 2-inch oblong and a 9-inch round cake pan); grease generously with Crisco and drizzle generously with dark Karo syrup in pan until bottom of pan is covered. Spread soft butter over Karo. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.Roll dough to 1/4-inch thick. Spread generously with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up as jelly roll; cut in 1-inch slices. Place, cut side down, on Karo. Let rise until double in bulk and light. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen sticky buns. Bake in a 375° oven for 35 minutes.
