Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Blend together and set aside first 4 ingredients. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.Place 1/2 of batter into well-greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Spread 1/2 of nut mixture on top. Add rest of batter and spread on remaining nut mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
