Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- saltine crackers - 1 item
- or 5 squash - 4 item
- cheese mild or medium - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Slice squash and boil with sliced onion until done. Drain and add salt, pepper and margarine. Layer in dish: 1/2 squash mixture, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup and cheese. Repeat with next layer. Top with crushed saltines. Bake at 350° for about 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
