Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated cheese - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 c
- saltine crackers, crushed - 8 item
- medium to large squash, sliced - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Boil squash until tender. Drain. Combine all ingredients except a small amount of cheese and crackers. Pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle with reserved cheese and crackers. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes or until slightly brown on top.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
