Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- stick oleo - 1/2 item
- stick melted butter - 1/2 item
- yellow squash, washed, sliced, cooked until tender and mashed - 3 4
How to make squash casserole:
Add onion, sugar, salt, pepper, egg (add and beat quickly to avoid curdling), 1/2 stick oleo and 1/2 cup cracker crumbs to squash. Pour into a casserole dish and top with another 1/2 cup cracker crumbs and another 1/2 stick melted butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or microwave on Full power for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
