Ingredients/Components
- squash, cooked and drained - 4 c
- large Vidalia onions, cooked with squash - 2 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- grated carrots optional but very good - 1 c
- stick melted margarine - 3/4 item
- Pepperidge Farm corn bread stuffing - 3 c
- grated Cheddar cheese your favorite - 1 c
How to make squash casserole:
Combine squash and onions, soup, sour cream, eggs and carrots in greased, 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or casserole dish. In small bowl, combine stuffing and margarine; pour evenly over squash. Top with cheese. Bake at 400° until lightly browned.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
