Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- medium yellow squash - 8 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash in salted water until tender. Drain and mash. Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Saute onion in bacon drippings. Combine all ingredients and stir well. Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
