Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- herb-seasoned stuffing mix - 1 pkg
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- carrots, sliced - 2 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- small jar pimiento, chopped - 1 item
- yellow squash, sliced - 3 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and carrots together in salted water until tender; drain well. Add soup, sour cream and pimento. Melt butter; stir in stuffing mix. Spread half of the stuffing mix in greased casserole. Pour in squash mixture. Cover with remaining stuffing mix. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
