Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
- chives - 1 Tbsp
- egg yolk, beaten - 1 item
- squash, diced - 3 c
How to make squash casserole:
Simmer squash in water for 6 minutes. Drain squash. Mix sour cream, butter, salt and paprika. Gradually stir in cheese on low heat as it melts. Add egg and chives. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375° until brown.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
