Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- grated carrots - 4 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing mix - 1 pkg
- jar pimentos - 1 oz
- yellow squash - 2 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash. Drain and season with salt and pepper. Mix with 1/2 stuffing. Add sour cream, pimentos, onion and soup. Mix other half stuffing with half cup melted butter. Line casserole with half stuffing; pour squash mixture into casserole. Top with rest of stuffing. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
