Squash and apple bake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- butternut squash - 2 lb
- apples, cored and cut into slices - 2 item
How to make squash and apple bake:
Heat oven to 350°. Cut each squash in half. Remove seeds and fibers. Pare squash; cut into 1/2-inch slices. Stir together sugar, margarine, flour, cinnamon and salt. Arrange squash in baking dish (11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inches). Top with apples. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. Cover with foil.
