Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • self-rising flour - 4 c
  • dry yeast - 1 pkg
  • very warm water - 2 c
  • melted - 1-1/2 sticks

How to make spoon rolls:

Cream margarine with sugar in large bowl. Add beaten egg. Add dissolved yeast to mixture. Add flour and stir until well mixed. Place in airtight container. Keep in refrigerator until needed (keeps 10-12 days).

To cook, drop by spoonful into well greased muffin tin. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until brown.
