- lemon jello - 1 pkg
- boiling water - 1 c
- box lemon cake mix - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- eggs - 4 item
- lemon extract - 1-1/2 Tbsp
- Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs, one at a time, beating well
How to make lemon cake:
Mix lemon jello in boiling water. Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs, one at a time, beating well. Mix lemon extract with cooled jello and add to cake mixture.Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. May bake in bundt pan or 9 x 13 cake pan.ICING Mix 1 cup powdered sugar with lemon juice and pour over hot cake. Punch holes in cake before spreading icing on cake. Freezes well.
