Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • oregano - 1 Tbsp
  • can water - 1/2 item
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • sweet basil - 1 Tbsp
  • small cans tomato paste - 2 item
  • cloves garlic, chopped fine - 2 item
  • can mushrooms optional - 1 item
  • or 4 bay leaves - 3 item
  • large tomato sauce - 1 item
  • a little oil - 1 item
  • green pepper large, chopped - 1 item
  • large can Italian tomatoes, crushed - 1 item

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Cook on low heat for 1 hour. Simmer until right consistency. Add meat balls, hot or sweet sausage 1 hour after cooking, just before the simmering stage starts.
