Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- can water - 1/2 item
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- crushed red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sweet basil - 1 Tbsp
- small cans tomato paste - 2 item
- cloves garlic, chopped fine - 2 item
- can mushrooms optional - 1 item
- or 4 bay leaves - 3 item
- large tomato sauce - 1 item
- a little oil - 1 item
- green pepper large, chopped - 1 item
- large can Italian tomatoes, crushed - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Cook on low heat for 1 hour. Simmer until right consistency. Add meat balls, hot or sweet sausage 1 hour after cooking, just before the simmering stage starts.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
