Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 1 pt
- oregano
- basil
- onions - 3 lb
- garlic bulbs - 2 item
- bushel tomatoes, juiced - 1/2 item
- handful parsley - 1/2 item
- cans tomato paste or more - 8 oz
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Cook juice, onions and garlic about 20 minutes until soft. Add everything else except tomato paste. Cook 1/2 hour. Add paste; cook 10 to 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Cold pack 10 minutes. Heat canning lids before use.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
