Spaghetti and meat sauce
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- chopped parsley - 1/2 c
- cans tomatoes - 2 oz
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- sugar - 2 tsp
- dried basil - 2 tsp
- salt
- dried oregano - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- green pepper - 1 item
- mushrooms - 20 item
How to make spaghetti and meat sauce:
In a 5-quart Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, parsley and ground beef; cook 10 minutes or until browned. In blender container, place 1 can of tomatoes; blend on high speed 30 seconds or until chopped. Hand squash the second can of tomatoes. Add to onion mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 to 3 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Spaghetti.
