  • pkg - 1 oz
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • cloves garlic - 3 item
  • chopped parsley - 1/2 c
  • cans tomatoes - 2 oz
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • dried basil - 2 tsp
  • salt
  • dried oregano - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • mushrooms - 20 item

How to make spaghetti and meat sauce:

In a 5-quart Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, parsley and ground beef; cook 10 minutes or until browned. In blender container, place 1 can of tomatoes; blend on high speed 30 seconds or until chopped. Hand squash the second can of tomatoes. Add to onion mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 to 3 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta.
