Spaghetti and cabbage with cheese sauce
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- margarine
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- spaghetti - 3/4 c
- grated cheese about 1 c - 1/4 lb
- shredded cabbage - 2 c
How to make spaghetti and cabbage with cheese sauce:
Cook spaghetti until tender; drain. Make sauce from margarine, flour, salt and milk. Remove from heat; add cheese. Stir until melted. Alternate layers of cabbage and spaghetti in casserole dish. Pour sauce over top. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Remove cover last 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Pasta, Spaghetti.
