Spaghetti a la carbonara
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- egg yolks, beaten - 3 item
- cooked spaghetti noodles - 1/2 lb
- skimmed milk - 3/4 c
- to 10 slices chopped bacon - 8 item
How to make spaghetti a la carbonara:
In a small bowl, blend milk and egg yolks, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper (set aside). In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings.
