Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Steam onion, garlic, celery and pepper in bacon fat. Add flour, salt, chili powder and sugar and brown like gravy. Add water and simmer a few minutes. Add tomatoes and vinegar and cook about 15 minutes. Add cooked shrimp. Serve on rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
