Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- water
- oil - 2/3 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped onions - 1 c
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cloves minced garlic - 3 item
- bay leaves - 3 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- medium shrimp - 2 lb
- Lea & Perrins - 1 Tbsp
- thin slices lemon - 4 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Make roux using oil and flour. Add seasoning and cook until wilted. Add tomato sauce, water and remaining ingredients. Let simmer for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
