Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1 c
  • water
  • oil - 2/3 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • chopped green onions - 1/2 c
  • minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • cloves minced garlic - 3 item
  • bay leaves - 3 item
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
  • medium shrimp - 2 lb
  • Lea & Perrins - 1 Tbsp
  • thin slices lemon - 4 item

How to make shrimp creole:

Make roux using oil and flour. Add seasoning and cook until wilted. Add tomato sauce, water and remaining ingredients. Let simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
