Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • diced onion - 1/2 c
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp
  • cooked and cleaned shrimp - 2 c
  • or 2 large green peppers, cut in chunks - 1 item
  • celery, cut in 1/2-inch slices - 1/2 c
  • can imported tomato paste - 1 oz

How to make shrimp creole:

Saute peppers, onions, celery and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except shrimp. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp to sauce and simmer ten minutes. Serve with rice.
