Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- chili sauce - 1/4 c
- can whole tomatoes, cut up - 1 oz
- dried thyme - 1/2 tsp
- shrimp, peeled and deveined - 1 lb
- beef flavored gravy base - 1/2 tsp
How to make shrimp creole:
Cook shrimp in boiling water 1 to 3 minutes or until done. Drain and set aside. Cook celery and onion in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add shrimp and heat through. Serve over rice. Makes 3 to 4 servings.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
