Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- 4 oz - 2 cans
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- cooked rice - 6 c
- thyme - 1 Tbsp
- green onions, minced - 3 item
- drops Tabasco sauce - 2 item
- green peppers, chopped - 2 item
- peeled, deveined raw shrimp - 2 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
Melt butter; add flour and cook until well blended. Add bay leaf, onions, peppers, garlic, parsley, thyme, green onions, salt, pepper and shrimp; mix well. Cook for 5 minutes, then add tomatoes and water and cook for 30 minutes, stirring often, or untilRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
