Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 3/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped reserve liquid - 1 oz
- uncooked shrimp, cleaned - 1 lb
- envelope Lipton golden onion soup with real chicken broth - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
In a medium skillet, melt butter and cook green pepper and celery until tender. Add golden onion soup mix blended with reserved liquid and water, tomatoes and parsley. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp are done.
