Ingredients/Components

- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 to
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- hot fat for frying - 1 item
- Cherrystone clams or 2 small cans minced clams - 1 doz
How to make clam fritters:
Grind clams. Put crackers in blender, using high speed. Pour crumbs into clams. Add beaten eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add Tabasco sauce and lemon juice. Let sit 20 minutes. Heat skillet with 1/2-inch oil. If mixture is too thin, adRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Clams.
