Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 4 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- rice - 1 item
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- canned tomatoes - 2 c
- cooked green peas - 1 c
- Paul Prudhomme Seafood Magic seasoning - 1 Tbsp
- cooked and shelled medium shrimp - 1 lb
How to make shrimp creole:
In Dutch oven, saute in oil the onions, celery and green pepper. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add tomatoes and vinegar and simmer for 15 minutes. Add shrimp and peas and cook just until heated through. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
