Hot beef sandwiches
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- water
- vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 4 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- catsup - 2 c
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- chuck roast - 3 lb
- Tabasco optional - 4 tsp
- cayenne optional - 1/2 tsp
- dashes paprika - 2 item
How to make hot beef sandwiches:
Cook roast until tender. Set aside and shred. Brown butter and onions. Add garlic, celery, mustard and water. Cook a few minutes. Then add remaining ingredients. Cook 20 minutes. Add shredded meat. Serve on hamburger buns.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Sandwich, One Dish meal.
