Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- chicken stock or bouillon
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- small can mushrooms - 1 item
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- shrimp - 2 lb
- uncooked rice
How to make shrimp and rice:
Set temperature control on electric skillet at 300°. Melt butter; add salt, pepper, onion and rice. Stir frequently until rice is golden brown. Add mushrooms, hot stock, parsley, thyme, lemon juice and shrimp; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Shellfish, Shrimp.
