Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • chicken stock or bouillon
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • small can mushrooms - 1 item
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • shrimp - 2 lb
  • uncooked rice

How to make shrimp and rice:

Set temperature control on electric skillet at 300°. Melt butter; add salt, pepper, onion and rice. Stir frequently until rice is golden brown. Add mushrooms, hot stock, parsley, thyme, lemon juice and shrimp; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is tender.
