Ingredients/Components
- molasses - 2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- brown sugar
How to make shoo-fly pie:
Crumbs:3 c. flour1/2 c. butter1 1/2 c. brown sugar Mix syrup ingredients together. Place in two unbaked pie crusts. Mix crumb ingredients together and pour on top of syrup ingredients. Bake 15 minutes at 400°; then reduce heat to 375° for 30 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
