Pumpkin apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- crust for 1 9-inch pie pan
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- peeled, sliced apples - 2 c
- pumpkin - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- sugar - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/8 tsp
How to make pumpkin apple pie:
Combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon with apples. Place in a pie shell; set aside.Combine pumpkin, milk, egg, sugar, ginger, salt and cloves. Mix. Pour over apples. Bake 15 minutes at 425°. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set. Cool. Refrigerate any leftovers.
