- firmly packed dark brown sugar - 2/3 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- shortening or lard - 2 Tbsp
- unbaked 9-inch pie crust - 1 item
