Ingredients/Components
- Velveeta cheese - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dried onion - 1/2 tsp
- mashed potatoes leftover or instant made by directions - 2 3
- extra milk to desired consistency
How to make shepherd's pie:
Brown ground beef and onion. Drain fat. Add mashed potatoes and milk; small amount until desired consistency. Spread in an 8 x 8 or round Pyrex. Place slices of Velveeta cheese on top and bake in 350° oven until cheese browns, about 15 to 20 minutes. Check in 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
