Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped ham
- flour - 4 lb
- broth - 1/2 c
- sauerkraut, drained and chopped - 3 c
- chopped parsley - 1 lb
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 1 pt
- soft bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut balls:
Breading:2 1/2 c. flour1 egg1 pt. milk soft bread crumbs Melt margarine and brown onion. Add ham, flour, broth, sauerkraut and parsley. Cook a few more minutes. Cool and make 1-inch balls. Mix egg and milk. Dip in balls, then flour and bread crumbs. Fry in deep fat.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Pork.
