- salt - 1 Tbsp
- cabbage - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut:
Be sure the sign is a week before full moon or after last quarter.Shred cabbage and pack into a quart size jar. Add salt and sugar. Fill with boiling water. Seal with hot lids.
