Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- cider vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed
- mustard seed
- turmeric
- thinly sliced cucumbers and onions - 1 item
- garlic and hot peppers optional - 1 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Bring first 6 ingredients to a boil; let cool. Pour into gallon jar and add cucumbers and onions. Garlic and hot peppers may be added if desired. Put into refrigerator. Add new cucumbers as needed.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
